Submitting Articles to Internet media portals overview

When you plan to launch your respected internet website base business, you should think about establishing good relations with such folks as Google, Yahoo, MSN, Altavista, and other titans on the internet ranking and search market. This is where you need to decide if you would like to outsource this part of the business to internet search optimization subcontractor or face the issue personally. When you decide to deal with this on your own, you need to be aware about linking strategy and modern side of it – articles and press prelease publication in the free press media portals. In this small publication we are following the restriction of genre are trying to give you highlights and initial directions

1. Press Release Media sites. Well, if you are new to these folks out there, please do the search on Google: submit press release – you will see who is servicing you if you are PR submitter. The key point to keep your eye on is when this specific media site published PR last time – for example it they are not current for few months – then you can not relay on these people to get you to the top of search engines. Other PR questioning technique is verifying their google page rank – if they have pagerank of three and below – you should probably be skeptical about them as they are probably in the Googe so-called sandbox

2. Articles Submission Sites. At this time, you should be easily finding a lot of PHP portals, which means that these people didn’t pay a lot for establishing their articles publication sites. Real Article portal requires custom programming and software development. We are not saying that PHP doesn’t do the job, however PHP direction requires a lot of distinguishing thinking through to make their site to be ranked high on the leading internet search engines

3. Internet Search spiders overview. Googlebot is probably the most desired spider to be welcomed to visit your web site. Then yahoo slurp and Microsoft msnbot is the next in line or in some cases preferred to yahoo.

4. When you article or PR are submitted, what to expect. Here, all the new technology wade off and you have to deal with pretty ancient scenario of gazette publishers, where all the internet engines have to comply to. Market will be voting for your article or PR to go higher or lower. Whatever you do – like purchasing high end notebook or installing latest service pack for Microsoft Vista will not help in making you higher – market place will be in charge and this is what was happening from ancient times

Article Marketing - A Proliferation Of Garbage

Article Marketing - A Proliferation Of Garbage
Recommended by Norhisham Rahmat

This article is likely to upset some people but I’m afraid it’s just something that has to be aired.

Do you remember the episode of Friends when Joey was trying to help Chandler and Monica with their attempt to become adoptive parents? In case you’re not familiar with it, here’s a quick precis. He attempted to write a reference for his friends, who, although touched, were none to keen on the idea, knowing all too well his, shall we say, limited writing skills. As Joey struggled with his efforts, Ross kindly introduced him to the concept of the thesaurus provided with his word processing software and Joey was amazed and extremely grateful.

Unfortunately, as was inevitable, Joey’s enthusiasm led him to replace virtually every word he had written with alternatives provided by said thesaurus, finishing by signing his name as “Baby Kangaroo Tribiani”.

It was a good comic moment, but what’s the point?

Articles. It seems that everyone and their dog now aspire to writing articles. Let’s be fair, they have been hailed as the holy grail of free online promotion and advertising.

There have been all kinds of claims made about article marketing; some accurate, some outlandish and some just plain ridiculous. Nevertheless, it has spawned a deluge, a frenzy of writing by hopeful webmasters, marketers and advertisers.

It has led to the creation of all kinds of article related software for everything from writing the article itself through to submitting it to hundreds of directories. It has also resulted in the birth of “submission services” who charge authors a fee to carpet bomb the directories and a veritable feast of freelancers and ghost writers all keen to cash in.

Sadly however, there really are a huge number of “Baby Kangaroos” out there. I say this with the knowledge of a directory editor who sees, on a daily basis, some truly awful attempts at writing and article marketing.

Before I end up ranting about plain, honest to goodness bad writing, let’s examine what article marketing is really about. It is not about building links - at least, that was never its primary purpose.

Writing articles is about informing the world at large on a particular topic of interest. The sharing of knowledge. Providing others with well considered and researched information, offering the benefit of your knowledge on a subject for which they have been searching. The motivation for writing articles should be, first and foremost, the desire to inform and to establish yourself as a creditable authority on a particular subject. The knock on effect was often an increase in links to the author’s website or blog, and, possibly, an increased following and perhaps an improvement in sales if they were indeed providing a marketable product or service.

Never confuse writing articles with the entirely different discipline of writing ads. I lose count of the number of ads that I delete every day where the authors have not even the wit to try and disguise them. No, articles are not advertisements, neither are they testimonials (especially for ridiculous money making schemes and scams).

Writing articles involves work and authors should always take care to ensure their writing is of a high standard. This means grammar, spelling, punctuation and all the other things you might not have paid attention to at school. It also means proofreading the finished article for errors before sending it out across the web. Articles littered with errors are damaging - firstly to you, the author and secondly, to the fabric of article marketing as a whole.

If you really want your work to be syndicated by article directories (at least, any directory worth submitting to)and picked up for wider publication by website owners and bloggers, you must pay attention to quality. Do you think that most blog owners or webmasters want to publish poorly written drivel? It seems apparent that some authors really do believe this, what other explanation is there for all the crap that they insist on polluting the internet with?

Equally guilty, to my mind at least, are the directories who impose zero quality control, and likewise the submission services who seem far more intent on raking in their charges than in displaying any kind of long term interest in cultivating article marketing as a viable low cost marketing strategy for everyone.

It’s sad because this short sighted greed on behalf of authors, directories and associated middlemen is slowly strangling the wonderful opportunity that article marketing represents.

The next time you decide to submit an article, please stop and think. Have you reread and corrected your mistakes? Does it read like an advertisement? Is it overstuffed with keywords and phrases to the point of absurdity? Is the subject matter remotely related to your resource box links? Is that PLR article written by someone on a distant non-English speaking continent really something you want to put your name to? Do you really have any knowledge of what you have attempted to write about? Are you sharing your knowledge or just rehashing a few tired phrases that have been published a thousand times before and trying to pass it off as original thought?

To be brutally honest, if you can’t be bothered with any of this, don’t expect a directory owner/editor to be bothered either. Filling up a directory with rubbish is akin to killing their own site and stripping it of all credibility. The only option available to them is to hit delete and consign your attempt to the trash can.

Be honest with yourself before you hit the “enter” key. Then go back and learn about article marketing, because, done correctly it really can do most of the things that you’ve heard others claim. Get it wrong however, and you are doing little more than wasting the ten minutes it took you to dash off that “article” with your instant content producing software.

The Theory of Article Marketing

The Theory of Article Marketing
Recommended by Norhisham Rahmat
Provider of FREE Work From Home Web Site Setup

The theory of article marketing goes like this: Write an article, submit it to an article directory, get it published on multiple websites, get immediate traffic from those interested in your subject, and create residual traffic through links back to your site. There is a ton of information available for each topic I mentioned here.

First off you need to write an article. That sounds tough doesn’t it? Well it is! It takes time, motivation and practice to write quality articles. If you do a search on writing articles you will find many results for software that does this for you. There is simply no substitute for just doing it yourself, or paying money for a ghostwriter. There are plenty of forums and free ebooks out there that can help you to choose a topic and organize your thoughts to write a good article. Do your research or just start writing and submitting and eventually you’ll get better at it. One other option is to find some PLR articles, which are Private Label Rights articles. There are numerous sites giving these away just for you signing up for their newsletters. Most article directories won’t let you submit these article because they are worthless. The good part about them is that they already have a topic and a structure. You can just edit it and add some more personality to it and make it your own.

Next comes the submission to article directories. Many sites are on the web where you can submit your article. It is very important not to use some crappy PLR article as your own. Make sure to edit it enough to make it unique otherwise the directory will recognize the fact that you are just trying to get your resource box up with the same content everyone else who got that same PLR article for free. Now that you have an article and have submitted it you must include a short message about yourself in the author resource box. This is the exciting part. You get to put a link to your website in the resource box. Now when some other webmaster is building a site around the same topic as your article and needs some content he/ she comes to the article directory and finds your article. When he/ she uses your article the resource box with your link gets put up on his/ her website.

If the website receives lots of traffic then your quality article with your link to your website has a good chance of being clicked. Another great thing about the article directory is the fact that there is no limit to the number of webmasters who can use your article. If it is a quality article and many webmasters use it your traffic could shoot through the roof.

Now for the good part. All of these links on other people’s websites does wonders for your search engine rankings. The scenario above is the best case. Let’s say you write an article and it only gets published a few times. You get a little traffic but nothing major. You may get a little discouraged and want quit the business altogether. You just put your heart into an article and it brought a few visitors to your site now what? Do it again! If it worked once why not do it over and over again until you get the residual traffic you need?

Article marketing is the best method for people on a tight budget. Most directories are free to submit article to. You can even use this method if you have no website. It works great for affiliate marketing too! You write an article about some aspect of the product you are an affiliate for and put your affiliate link in the resource box. The possibilities are endless with article marketing. Now get busy writing!

10 Benefits Of Submitting Articles To E-zines

10 Benefits Of Submitting Articles To E-zines
http://www.PlugInProfitSite.com/main-20399

1. You’ll brand your web site, business and yourself
by submitting articles to e-zines. You could include
your name, business name, your credentials, web site
address and e-mail address in your resource box.

2. You will become known as an expert on the topics
you write about. This will give you and your business
extra credibility which will help you compete against
your competition.

3. Your article might also be placed on the publisher’s
home page. If they publish each issue on their home
page this will give you some extra exposure.

4. You might get extra exposure if the e-zine publisher
archives their e-zine on their site. People might want
to read the back issues before they make the decision
to subscribe.

5. You will get free advertising. This will allow you to
spend your profits on other forms of advertising. You
could buy advertisements in other e-zines that don’t
publish your articles.

6. You might get extra income from people wanting to
hire you to write other articles, books, or even ask to
speak at seminars. This is a great way to multiply your
income.

7. You could allow e-zine publishers to publish your
articles in their free e-books. Since people give them
away, your advertising could multiply all over the
internet.

8. You will get your article published all over the web
when you submit it to an e-zine publisher that has a
free content directory on their web site. They’ll allow
their visitors to republish your article.

9. You’ll gain people’s trust. If they read your article
and like it, they won’t be as hesitant to buy your
product or service. You will then be able to increase
your profits.

10. You could get your article guaranteed to run in
an e-zine. You could agree to run one of their articles
in your e-zine if, in exchange, they run yours in their
e-zine. It’s a win/win situation.

Article Marketing Traffic Power - 3 Steps to Burst Your Website Bandwidth
Brought to you by Norhisham Rahmat

Articles are in high demand these days. The simple reason is that they have power to burst your website bandwidth with high quality website traffic.

If you want to tap into this high traffic pulling power of articles make sure you apply 3 simple steps laid down below with every article you write from now on.

Here’s a 3 block formula that will pump up your website traffic right off the charts through article marketing…

Step 1 - Optimize Your Articles.

Step 2 - Attention Grabbing Titles.

Step 3 - High Quality Articles.

The purpose of this article is to make sure that you get high traffic from your article marketing campaign.

Here are high traffic pulling article marketing steps in detail…

Step 1 - Optimize Your Articles.

You must learn how to optimize your articles.

You must load your articles with keywords in your niche so that search engines know the niche your articles are targeting.

Study your niche and research keywords that they are using to find information relating to your products and services.

Then optimize your articles with those keywords so that they rank well in the search engines.

Step 2 - Attention Grabbing Titles.

Title is one of the most important part of your article.

If your title fails to grab attention of your target market, no one will read your article.

If they fail to read your article know one will reach your resource box and thus zero traffic to your website.

Therefore focus on writing catchy headlines. I would suggest you to get headline templates on the internet.

There are many copywriting ebooks that will give you fill in the blank headline templates that are really catchy.

Then make sure you include your article benefits and solution to problems of your target niche and use the templates to write catchy headlines.

Step 3 - High Quality Articles.

The only reason people are reading articles it that they are in need of quality information.

If your article sucks and provides crap information, you will spoil your reputation and get zero traffic to your website.

Therefore it is very important to give your target market what they want, that is quality informative content in your niche.

If you provide quality content this will boost up your name and reputation in your niche.

10 Secrets For Successful Article Marketing

January 18, 2008 By: admin Category: Article Marketing Guide No Comments →

10 Secrets For Successful Article Marketing
Brought to you by Norhisham Rahmat
http://www.PlugInProfitSite.com/main-20399

Now that you have your website all set up, you’ve got to promote it. One of the best techniques to market your website or product is through article marketing. It is free and the articles that you write today will continue to produce results for many months. Following are 10 secrets to achieve article marketing success.

1) Use a spelling and grammar checker. Nothing turns off a reader as much as repeated misspellings and grammatical errors. You can easily avoid this by running your article through a good spelling and grammar checker. These programs come with most word processors today; use them.

3) Develop a compelling title. Your title is the advertising for your article. A boring title will generate far fewer page views than a good title. Spend some time on developing a title that grabs your reader’s attention.

4) Target your articles. You will gain a valuable following of repeat readers if you give all of the details on a very narrow subject rather than broad generalities on a number of subjects.

5) Keep your articles short. In most cases, the ideal article should have between 350 and 600 words. Readers did not click on your article to read a novel. Be brief and to the point.

6) Avoid shameless self-promotion. Nobody cares about where you went to school or your two ugly kids. Use the resource box for links to your website or products that you recommend.

7) Give readers what they want. Research your previous articles, if one particular subject got 50% more page views, write additional articles on the same subject. Make sure you provide new information, don’t just re-word the same information.

8) Never plagiarize. Do NOT copy another author’s work. It is illegal and can have severe penalties. It is also the easiest way to get banned from everywhere. Don’t do it!

9) Play by the rules. Study the submission policies provided by the sites that you submit articles to and abide by them.

10) Do your research. If you are stating a fact, cite your source. If it is your opinion or a guess, say so. Don’t spout off your opinion as if it was a cold hard fact.

The Top 10 Benefits of Article Marketing

January 18, 2008 By: admin Category: Article Marketing Guide No Comments →

The Top 10 Benefits of Article Marketing
Brought to you by Norhisham Rahmat
http://www.PlugInProfitSite.com/main-20399

Every single business owner can benefit from article marketing. It doesn’t matter if you provide a service, sell a product, market information or are involved in direct sales or affiliate marketing. Article marketing is a fantastic tool to build your business.

What is article marketing?

It is simply the practice of writing articles and publishing them online via your choice of the thousands of article directories available. These article submission directories range from niche specific to broad based. Here are the top 10 benefits of article marketing.

#1 Provide valuable knowledge. The articles you submit and publish help people solve their problems, learn more, and find the answers to their questions. It doesn’t matter what type of business you own, you have knowledge people are looking for.

#2 Build credibility. When you share your knowledge with people, you help to establish yourself as an expert. The more knowledge and information you provide, the more credibility you have.

#3 Increase brand awareness. Article directories have a broad reach. You submit your article to them, they publish it online AND your article is available for reprint on blogs and websites around the world. Not to worry, the businesses that use your article keep your contact information, links, and bio 100% intact. Write a good article and it could be published in 500 different website. Each one of these websites has their own target market and group of visitors who will, once they read your article, be aware of you and your business.

#4 Increase exposure. Advertising and marketing rule of thumb says it takes 3 to 7 exposures for brand recognition. That means if someone sees something related to your business, an article, your logo, an online ad, a few times, then you’ll be part of their conscious. Think about how many McDonald’s commercials you saw as a child. Whether you like the place or not, it’s likely the first thing you think of when someone says fast food. Article marketing helps you reach your customers and potential customers several times.

#5 Drive traffic to your website. Each article you write will have a bio box. Your bio will include a link to your website. If you include a little teaser at the end of your article then your reader’s will click through to your website to learn more about your business and what you have to offer.

#6 Promote your products or services. Your article can help to promote your products or services. While you will want to make sure the article provides value, no one wants to read a sales pitch, you can throw in a few “suggestions” to promote your business.

#7 Increase SEO with links. The more people that publish your article, the more links you’ll have back to your website. Search engines look for quality links to your website when determining your ranking.

#8 Earn new customers. Article marketing will give you new customers. Whether your business is brand spanking new or you’ve been in business for decades, you will gain new customers from article marketing. It’s almost guaranteed. Searching for a solution, they’ll hop online to do some research, they’ll find your article, you’ll impress them with your knowledge, they’ll click to your website and bam! New customer.

#9 It is one of the easiest forms of marketing you can do. If you already have content written, article marketing is literally a cut and paste operation.

#10. It is free. 99% of the article directories are free. A few offer upgrade services that offer a few features you may be interested in. Even if you choose to pay for these features your ROI is going to be very high.

Article marketing is a win win opportunity. You win by increasing your exposure with a free marketing tool and your customers win because they benefit from your knowledge.

Paid Links Are Out, Article Marketing Is In

Paid Links Are Out, Article Marketing Is In
Brought to you by Norhisham Rahmat
http://www.PlugInProfitSite.com/main-20399

How will you promote your website in 2008? Will you be buying links in 2008? Are you aware of the benefits of article marketing? As the title of this article suggests, writing articles as a way of promoting a website is suddenly back in fashion.

As recently as the beginning of last year, webmasters were able to basically buy their way to the top of the search engine rankings but Google have now put a stop to this via their war on paid links campaign. People are now running scared of even exchanging web links and so article marketing yet again has come back into the limelight. This is one form of web promotion that not only works but is here to say.

If you would like to see your website obtain higher rankings for its keywords and ultimately gain more traffic, then I would seriously advise you to commence writing articles.

You can write about any subject however content that is related to your website would be preferable. The article should be at least two hundred and fifty words in length, in truth the majority of article directories would rather them have between four and five hundred words. The article needs to be your own work; unique and fresh content is very much sought after at the moment.

You can then submit the article to one or more of the main article directories/websites. My favourite is ezinearticles, others include goarticles, searchwarp, articledashboard and ideamarketers.

Submitting two or three articles will not have too much impact however submitting three hundred will.

I wish you all the best with your web promotion in 2008, happy writing.

Article Marketing: 15 Secrets to Repurposing Your Articles to Work for You Again and Again

January 18, 2008 By: admin Category: Article Marketing Guide No Comments →

Article Marketing: 15 Secrets to Repurposing Your Articles to Work for You Again and Again
Brought to you by Norhisham Rahmat
http://www.PlugInProfitSite.com/main-20399

My favorite Internet marketing strategy of all time is article marketing. It keys into one of my talents, writing, and I can use the articles I create time and time again for a multitude of purposes. I tend to be lazy by nature, so anything that lets me create once and get paid, get paid, get paid, etc. is a dream marketing strategy.

I made a firm commitment to writing one article per week in 2003 or so, and now have an entire article library that I use and refer to all the time. Without a doubt, I have to give credit to my article marketing strategy for the success of my business. It has helped me get found online, demonstrate my expertise to my target market, create info products to sell on my website, and get hired by those in need of what I offer.

Here are 15 ways you can repurpose each article you write to make it a workhorse for your business:

1. Publish in your ezine. Every single article I’ve ever written has appeared as an article in one of my newsletters. My commitment to publishing a weekly email newsletter forced me to commit to writing a new article each week. I’m not sure I would have honored my commitment to article writing had I not forced myself to produce an email newsletter on a weekly basis.

2. Post to your website. Roughly 60% of my traffic comes to my website via keyword searches that match the topics of articles that I’ve written. I use my online article bank to send both current and prospective clients to my site for additional information on a topic that enhances a recent discussion I’ve had with them. For maximum usability, index the articles on your website in usable categories that make sense to your target market so that they can easily find your words of expertise when they search for it online.

3. Add to your blog. Every single article that I write for my newsletter is also posted to my blog. Is this overkill, since I already publish an ezine, and do the search engines penalize me for redundant content? Thus far, I’ve never been penalized for having the same article appear in multiple places. In fact, Google indexes my blog posts within hours as indicated via my Google alerts. Some people love to read and respond to blogs while others would rather read ezines. So, by doing both, I appeal to both audiences with only minutes of extra effort.

4. Publish on social networking community sites. You can’t move anywhere online today without running into some social networking site — MySpace, Facebook Squidoo, etc. Many people are setting up their own social networking communities for niche markets, like the Book Marketing community to which I belong. Post your article to all of the social networking sites in which you participate. Depending on the site, you may be able to post it to your blog on the site, a group blog, a discussion forum, an announcement, etc. Check the rules of the community before posting your first article.

5. Distribute through article banks. Distributing your articles via thousands of article banks and article directories helps you increase your traffic, as Internet searchers might find an article at an article directory initially and then visit your website upon reading your resource box (short bio) at the end of the article. Article submission also establishes your credibility as an expert, especially when you tell a prospective client to Google you and they’re amazed by all the references to you online. Lastly, this article marketing strategy helps other print and online publishers locate you and then feature your work (or offer the prospect of other opportunities) in their publication.

6. Create a podcast. Make a digital recording of your article using one of any number of audio recording services like AudioAcrobat or software like Audacity. I create an special intro and outtro (special offer) for each podcast, based on the content of the article, and then proceed to read and record the text of the article. Then, post your podcast to podcast directories. In about 30 minutes, you’ve created yet another marketing strategy for yourself.

7. Create a video. Video production is becoming easier and easier, and I now receive a couple of video ezines where the entire content of the ezine is delivered via a video. In fact, you can actually sit at your desk with a webcam and record yourself. With the magic of video software like Visual Communicator or screen capturing software like Camtasia, you can add graphics and text and have a video ready in minutes. With the popularity of video sites like YouTube, it’s harder to ignore the impact video will have on your online marketing efforts.

8. Syndicate on other websites. Through the power of RSS feeds, you can become a syndicated columnist in other people’s publications. Simply offer your RSS code and installation instructions to your visitors with the promise that they’ll have new content on their site weekly (or in whatever interval you publish new articles). My article submission service offers this option to me, and I’m appearing on more websites every week.

9. Write a press release. Distributing a press release online can have a strong impact beyond any media that might pick it up. Press releases that link back to your site can enhance your search engine rankings and increase your online credibility. You can convert your article into a tips release, a release that ties into a current trend or news story or to an upcoming event that you’re sponsoring. This strategy takes a bit of work, as you need to modify the content of your article into the press release format and orient it to your goal for publishing the release. I use and highly recommend PRWeb.com for online press releases.

10. Create information products for profit. I never believed that I could put together any type of information product until I took a long, hard look at my collection of articles and saw definite themes emerge. Slowly but surely I’m translating these themes into information products that I can sell online.

11. Create a teleseminar. If you write your article in the tips format, you’ve got a teleseminar in the making. All you need to do is create an introduction and closing for your teleseminar and beef up your tips points with additional explanation or with examples, and before you know it you will have created the content for a 60 minute teleseminar.

12. Distribute to print publications in your target market. If your target market is very specialized or is a niche market, you’ll find a whole host of specialized print magazines, newsletters, and catalogs for this market. Take a few hours and research those publications available for your target market, check out their submission guidelines, and get a sense of the tone of the publication. If you think your content would be a great fit, buff up a couple of your best articles and send an email to the publisher outlining how publishing your content in their publication would benefit their readership. Since you may not be paid for your submission, request that a short bio with your contact info is contained within your article.

13. Add to your niche article directory. Creating your own niche article directory is a great traffic-generating strategy, as you can feature your own articles there as well as accept quality submissions from others who have relevant info for your target market. An easy way to create this type of site is through free article directory software, ArticleDashboard.com.

14. Create a special report. Want to create a quick giveaway to offer to colleagues as a bonus for their product, or as a giveaway to your contacts? Create a PDF of your article as a special report that includes your contact info, as well as an upsell page to particular products or services. Or, you can make this report a viral marketing piece.that is free for others to give away.

15. Offer it to your affiliates. If you have an affiliate program, offering your affiliates the ability to use and reprint your articles gives them content to help promote your products and services. In the resource box of your article that links back to your site, encourage your affiliates to include their affiliate link to your site so that they get credit anytime one of their visitors links to your site from theirs.

Don’t let your articles sit on your desktop gathering dust. Put them to work for you by creating a repurposing plan to help you get the most out of your creation.

Article marketing is an free and simple strategy you can use to increase your targeted website traffic. As a website traffic building strategy it works both directly and indirectly.

When you write and submit articles to article directories, people can download your article and use it on their websites or in their ezines as long as they include your resource bio information, including a link to your site. When people read your article they can click on your link and visit your site. In this way, article marketing directly brings visitors to your site.

However, article marketing can also increase your website traffic indirectly by creating a lot of one-way links to your website or blog. The number of back links to your site combined with the quality of those links (reputation and relevance of the other site) is used by search engines to determine link popularity. Link popularity is an important part of search engine page rank calculations.

Article marketing is therefore one of the best ways to promote your website or blog. Here are seven keys to success in article marketing:

1. Know Your Audience. It is important to know who you are trying to reach with your article. Your article should be written with the needs of a particular audience in mind, who would be interested in the information and products you offer on your website.

2. Consider Popular Search Terms. The most successful articles take into account the things that people are searching on within your subject area. This helps you narrow down your focus to address clear needs of your targeted audience. You can utilize helpful aids such as Yahoo’s keyword analysis tool to identify niches of interest to searchers.

3. Incorporate Keywords Into Your Article. Once you have chosen which search term or terms you will use incorporate these as your keyword in the article title and body. Avoid using the the same words or phrases too often as search engines will penalize you. If you keep it to one to two percent you will be safe. By including a popular keyword, you improve your possibilities that people who are searching for your information will find your article in search results.

4. Give Good Value. The whole point of article marketing is to build website traffic. If you want your readers who click on your link in the resource box, your article needs to be interesting, informative and relevant.

5. Write Well. Your article also needs to be well written. If you are a poor writer and wouldn’t know correct spelling or grammar from incorrect, consider a ghost writer for your writing work. The global marketplace has made it possible to get well written articles for very reasonable prices.

6. Write And Submit Often. Article marketing offer benefits for the long run. To generate targeted website traffic in substantial numbers you will need to write and submit articles on a regular basis. Some will be more popular than others and you won’t always be able to know which those will be.

7. Choose Your Article Directories Wisely. A high traffic article directory is a necessity. Some other directories do not have their traffic but they have very high search engine positions which can generate traffic from search results.

If you use these keys to article marketing success, you will find your website traffic and therefore your profits increasing exponentially over time.
